“What a great place to stay to watch the crane migration. The first evening we sat on the beautiful patio and had sandhill cranes all around us. Close to the best bird viewing spots. Clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen. And enjoyed the fireplace. We loved this place. And would definitely stay here again.”

“We have been coming here for a few years now once per summer, this host makes it feel special every time. They are very responsive to messages, as we wanted to be able to come in a day early they were able to accommodate us. The house is beautifully situated for the most amazing morning and all day views of the riverfront. Amazing wildlife, and special insiders hole in the wall must sees make it a treat to visit. “This cabin was tucked away. It happened to rain most the time. So didn’t get to enjoy the outside. Cabin is clean I would rate it for 6 adults without using the couch. Plenty of dishes and towels. Would be a nice couples time away. Will rebook next sale.”

“Nice place”

“We were looking for a place to stay that would be close to our grand-daughter, and also had a kitchen in which I could help prepare food for a graduation party. This fit the bill exactly. I was worried about the small fridge in the kitchen, but much to our amazement was a much larger fridge in the entry way with a freezer for our blue ice. The entire unit was just as pictured, and was spotlessly cleaned, as well as smelled clean. The outside areas were wonderful, but unfortunately we didn't……

“Perfect respite when traveling across I-80 to get a taste of Nebraska life. Just off the Interstate, nicely decorated in hunting motif, pasture view from bedroom window. Owners & 2 farm dogs very welcoming, barn is very pet friendly. Owners will contain their dogs if they bother, but we found them fun & part of the Nebraska life theme!!”

“We were staying in Long Pine, and turkey hunting for the week. The house was small enough to feel cozy, but still had enough room, and all the amenities needed. The owners are very sweet, accommodating, and fast to respond to any messages. The pizza place and the Sandhill Lounge were nice to have if we didn’t feel like cooking. Truly a gem in this small community!”

“It was wonderful to be able to walk down to the Platte River. Although the Sandhill Cranes had already left for their nesting territories, the Bald Eagle was a delightful substitute.”
