“The Red Cherry Woods Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay for a weeklong trip to Door County. The cottage is modern, nicely decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. Our 2 kids loved sleeping in the upstairs loft and my husband and I slept well on our King bed. We loved the automatic shades and beautiful wooded view from our bed! “This place is a little slice of heaven. It was very clean, beautiful decor, and all the amenities you could possibly need. From an outdoor griddle overlooking the water, a porch lounger swing, fire pit with provided wood, canoe and kayaks, a Keurig with coffee provided, comfy bed, gas grill down by the water, cornhole and other games, a nicely groomed trail that runs by the river, and so much more. I only use charcoal at home I wasn't sure how to light the gas grill and the host came right down……

“We vacationed on Kangaroo Lake every summer for 20 years at another place— East Shorewood Cottages. We loved it, but it was summer only and the cottages are small. It was wonderful to revive memories of a beloved lake in this wonderful house, large enough for our adult children and partners. We had some WiFi issues, but Ryan was super responsive. Highly recommend.”
