Welcome to this 3br/2ba home in the highly desirable Avondale neighborhood West of the Ashley. In a perfect location only 5 minutes walk to the restaurants/bars of Avondale and the West Ashley Greenway and less than a 10 minute drive to Downtown Charleston. Home has been completely remodeled and tastefully decorated, and at over 1700 sq. ft., you'll have plenty of space to stretch out. And don't forget the furnished outdoor patio to enjoy the wonderful Charleston weather. So come stay awhile!

Avondale is a favorite location in the Lowcountry for hip young professionals and families looking to stay near some fun restaurants, boutiques, and bars just outside of downtown Charleston. It’s a quaint Y-shaped commercial hub of colorful storefronts decorated with perhaps the greatest density of art murals and sticker art in the Lowcountry. And locals frequently call it one of the best places to live, a favorite factor being its whimsical charm.

Home is located:
- 5 minute walk to Avondale commercial zone
- 7 minute walk to the West Ashley
Greenway, a 10 mile long converted railroad trail
- less than a 10 minute drive to Downtown Charleston

There are numerous parks/trails/restaurants/bars within walking distance as the home is located in one of the best locations in West Ashley.

For exploring other areas of Charleston, a vehicle will be your best bet, as public transportation in the city is not a very convenient option.

When you prefer to leave your vehicle parked, Uber/Lyft both operate in the area so request a ride through the apps.

QUIET HOURS

The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors and follow all of the posted house rules.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.

Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb's insurance or other options are recommended.

INSECTS

As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A $500 damage deposit is automatically billed upon arrival. It will be refunded to your card after checkout if there are no claims made for damages.

HOUSE RULES

The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors and follow the posted house rules.

- Quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8:00am
- No smoking
- No parties/events

Any violations of the house rules will result in fines of $1,000 per occurrence, the police being called if there are any noise complaints, and possible removal from the property.
