Great location very walkable neighborhood and to King street. Holey City bagels was 1 block away, delicious we ordered ahead and picked up.The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The host was in contact to make sure we checked in okay and available for any questions.
The house was larger than the pictures portrayed. Great location within walking distance to all of the fine attractions Charleston has to offer. Communication with the host was great. Will definitely book again.
Great location to walk to all the best restaurants, bars and shopping! Unfortunately the house had some pest issues which is a normal occurrence with SC but could probably use more pest control. We also felt the security of the house wasn’t great, there are many door that can open out to the balcony on both floors, the door to the balcony from the dining room was wide open when we walked in and there was no way to lock it unfortunately. Hopefully that gets fixed and more pest control, other than that great spot and experience! Very comfy beds too.
Charming home close to King perfect for a getaway weekend
Charming old home. Despite it being so old it was very clean and had all working amenities. Loved the beautiful features of this home admiring the fixtures, windows, etc. It is definitely not a home for anyone that has difficultly managing stairs or getting in and out of a claw foot tub but it was perfect for girls 50th bday celebration. We even had a chef come to the house and use the kitchen to prepare us a fabulous meal! Wonderful bagel shop few doors down and awesome neighborhood eateries etc. we did not rent a car either walked or Uber and that worked out great. Beds pretty comfortable overall. Definitely recommend
Great place. Comments I’m sharing are not to denigrate the listing more to help others decide if it is a fit for them. Appreciated the kitchen (coffee maker, lots of pots, pans, glasses and utensils), dining and family room for hanging out at night. The three bedrooms were great. Beds were comfortable. Communication was great. The management company responded immediately when I had questions. There was an amenity listed for a pool that looked great, but our 16 year old wasn’t allowed in (must be 21 to enter). Therefore no one in our party used that part of the rental. Pool access in July would have been spectacular. Full bath upstairs requires a big step into and out of the tub to access the shower.. Not much room to hang out outside. the porches are not accessible, but that wasn’t a huge problem for us.
This was an amazing stay with friends! The home was as advertised and was very comfortable for our long weekend stay! It’s a great space for 4 people and an awesome location for walking or ridesharing to restaurants/bars. Definitely recommend.
Short walk to all the bars and restaurants. House was very clean. Loved the originality of it. Check in and out process was easy. Would stay there again.
We were looking for a place that was walkable to king st and this house fit the bill. We really enjoyed the house and will come back again on our next trip.
Check in/out was a breeze. The host was responsive with all questions and concerns. Great location. Only giving 4 stars due to no private parking available. There were a few times we had to park up the street.
