Nice location

Great location

Beautiful and very clean home. The location is great A short drive to downtown, Folly Beach, Isla of Palms and Sullivan Island. Many restaurants also. Hosts were great and very responsive. Would definitely stay at the property again.

Anniversary Getaway!

My wife and I decided to come to Charleston to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and the Low Country Cottage was just what we needed. Quaint and nicely appointed…the location was great (only minutes from downtown) and Patrick was an excellent host! Would highly recommend the Low Country Cottage if you’re ever in Charleston!

Simply the Best!

We were in town for spring break.This place was located close to everything we did.(downtown, beaches, attractions, shopping) The owner, Patrick, was amazing! Excellent communication, the property was very clean,we didn't cook but the kitchen had everything that you needed if you chose to cook. It was well stocked with all the necessities! There were recommendations for places to eat, things to do, and a binder with everything you needed to know about the cottage and the area. I will definitely stay at this property the next time that I travel to Charleston! If i could give 10 stars I would do that!!!

Charleston stay

We were in town visiting family. This was a perfect spot for us as James Island was conveniently located. The property was clean and appeared recently updated. We didn’t cook in at all due to our plans, so I can’t give an opinion of the kitchen other than to say the refrigerator was small. So it may not have been adequate for a family of 4 staying for a full week. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive.

Lowcountry Cottage - Comfort & Easy

From the very first communication to the final review The Lowcountry Cottage was the best and easiest property sharing stay I have ever had to date. The information provided before the stay allowed my family to understand what was available and what we needed to bring. The property itself was very well represented and very comfortable for the duration of our stay. While the location is directly in the back yard of the owner's house there was zero unwanted interaction. The cottage was also very comfortable and seemed to be a subtle home away from home. Also, the location of the property is very conducive to Charleston, James Island and Folly Beach without the hustle and bustle of a beach or downtown property. This property is truly a five out of five stars and exceeds the price paid for the space.

40th Birthday Celebration

Outstanding!! Everything it promised and more! From the ease of check in to the amazing location with all the southern hospitality Patrick and his family provided. The house was clean fully stocked and very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again as well as recommended!

Amazing Place Minutes from Charleston

Patrick and his family were amazing hosts. The place was very clean and had everything you needed. It's located in a safe, quiet area. Patrick was quick to answer any questions we had. He even offered to stock the fridge with certain items prior to our arrival (for a small fee). Whenever we make it back to Charleston, we will be sure to try and stay here again. Such a great experience.

Mother/Daughter Getaway

Everything about this property was fabulous! The location, the cottage, and the host were all exactly what we were looking for. This location is best for someone who has rented a car, as you are 15-20 min from Charleston, Folly Beach, and almost anywhere else you want to go. The cottage amenities were great (coffee, appliances, etc), the beds were ok, the cottage was very safe and comfortable, the checkin-checkout book was detailed and easy, and Patrick was incredibly responsive to any of our needs. I recommend this VRBO to anyone, and I definitely recommend visiting Charleston! My mom and I had a fabulous place to stay and the best time visiting together!! Thank you Patrick and family for hosting us!

Felt like home

I stayed here with my wife and toddler while attending my college reunion. Throughout the booking and check-in process, the host was highly communicative with information and answers to any questions I had. When we arrived, we appreciated that it was only a few minutes from stores and restaurants, but tucked out of view from the road for a little privacy. Very clean and neat, and not too many things I needed to worry about my 14 month old son grabbing. The little patio and backyard area provided a nice venue to sit and relax outside. Bedrooms and bathroom were all spotless and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here! We were in Charleston for an adult siblings long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! The house was clean and in a great location. We had an easy drive into Charleston and also Folly Beach. No complaints at all! Highly recommended!

Perfect Cottage!

My sister and I visited Charleston for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend and stayed at the Lowcountry Cottage for 4 days. We absolutely loved everything about the place, inside and out. It was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated and furnished. The location was perfect for us since we didn’t want to stay downtown….only 10-15 minutes away. The owner, Patrick, was so nice and responded to emails quickly. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this cottage. You can’t go wrong with this rental!!

Girls Trip

This was a great little house for our girls trip to the Charleston area. Centrally located for easy drive times to the beach or downtown. Very clean and Patrick was always available. Also, such a beautiful and quiet neighborhood !
