We were very pleased with the rental. The layout was perfect and it was well appointed. I appreciated the extra chairs and small tables around the room, and the wall of windows with an outdoor patio and chairs. The view of the trees and surrounding landscape was very pretty, especially at sunset! We would stay her again if we visit and definitely would commend others!

Short stay in Charleston

The property was very cozy. It was clean and relatively quiet. Great location near King street, bars and restaurants. It was our first time in Charleston, what a great city. If you stay here don’t bring too much luggage. The apartment is on the third floor and no elevator.

We loved the space! It was just the right size for 2 people, and the location was great. We ended up driving to get to other parts of town because of the weather, but we could have walked otherwise. I also loved that there was easy parking, a restaurant across the street, and two coffee shops within walking distance

Spring Street Setting

The rental is within walking distance of King Street and just across the street from the Pink Cactus Restaurant, which served us well for an easy dinner on our first night.The studio was very quiet and met our needs. The king-sized bed was very comfy with crisp white bedding.I missed having a washing machine, and there isn't a dishwasher. We also had issues with the wi-fi. I guess if you are on honeymoon, you wouldn't notice!

Met Every Need and Then Some....

We loved our stay. The pictures were precise and the property was in a fantastic location. We ate at Chubby Fish one night (it is a few blocks away) - excellent food and atmosphere. Be prepared to wait if you go.... there is a great little wine bar close by where you can wait for your table. Our walks to the more touristy areas were never more than 30 minutes, and usually had us going down King Street which is very entertaining in itself. The king bed is hotel comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. All around, a superb experience.

Great loft apartment very clean and comfortable. Cute patio with rockers. It is about a 30 to 40 min walk to king street shopping and attractions near the water. But there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. One thing to keep in mind that we were not aware of when we booked there is an event venue right next door and both nights there were parties with music and noise until at least 11. Also there is a lot of construction going on right behind the property that started at 7am. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

Great location, Rental Needs a Tune-up, WiFi Access So-So

The rental property is beautifully located within the city of Charleston. A Lyft can get you to the opposite end of King Street for less than $20. The rental was all the space we needed and was decorated gorgeously. However, the rental home is very old, like many places in Charleston. There is a strong, musty smell when you enter. There is a lot of humidity once the air conditioning is running. You can see moisture and mildew in the ceilings near vents, fans, and lights. The overall moisture in the room is so heavy it can make your items left out (especially on the bed) feel wet. Our pillows and comforter felt like they were even holding moisture. There were not enough towels and washcloths provided for our length of stay. Although I could call for some, I had to reach back out more than once to get them to us. The wifi access point is in another rental area of the property, so the signal isn't good. An additional AP point in the actual rental would be helpful. The extra cost of the Wanderer was not worth it; the rental home was expensive overall based on what we experienced while staying there. I would recommend this property based on its location in key areas in the city of Charleston, such as Rainbow Row and Upper King Street.
