"Gorgeous place in an excellent location with the most fabulous caretaker, Lucie, who helped us so much. She prepared us a lovely breakfast and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay."

"Great location and nice boutique hotel walking distance to everything"

"A beautiful boutique style hotel with an exceptional restaurant"

"The hotel is centrally located inside the old city walls. You can walk to all of the major historical monuments. The breakfast was great - Continental but good value and tasty. The restaurant right next door was good. We greatly enjoyed a dinner at La Tertre (you will need a reservation)"

"Nice and clean and easy to explore St Emilion nearby."

"Fantastic long weekend in Saint Emilion! Our host Michel was wonderful, super helpful and friendly throughout our stay at 537. Very communicative offering lots of advice on the local area and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. We were celebrating our anniversary and he could not have done more for us to make it feel special. The room was perfect. Spacious, modern and amazing bath! The grounds were immaculate with a lovely pool and seating area. The continental breakfast was...

"Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds."

"What a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms, friendly owners, very special."

"Un petit écrin situé au cœur des vignobles, un lieu propice à la détente le temps d’un week-end, et un personnel très dévoué ! Nous recommandons sans hésitation et reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"Dominique and Laura are wonderful hosts. We travel extensively, and this was one of our favorite places to stay! The location is peaceful and serene. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay . . . delicious and homemade. The home is about 15 minutes from Saint Emilion and near several wineries. I highly recommend staying with Dominique and Laura!"

"We stayed 1 night. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful. You can park in front of the hotel for a fee. The breakfast was ok, too heavily on the carbs/sweets."

"The location was beautiful and the rooms carefully curated. Lovely atmosphere and had an absolutely delightful breakfast. Nice tour of facility and taste of their wines. Overall, great experience!"

"Great host, great stay"

There is 24 hour access to the breakfast area where you have access to fridge space if you need it. Wine is available for sale around the clock. The property is very peaceful and super quiet - about a 30 minute drive to both Bordeaux and St Emilion. Breakfast is provided each morning with a nice selection of items and access to great...

"Couldn't be better"

"The hotel is beautiful, in the middle of wine country. The staff is wonderful and a great restaurant."

"We had a great two nights stay .. Melanie is great , friendly and helpful ! Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. "

"A great stay with a great host. Very relaxing environment with a cool family story. Breakfast is yummy. A short drive away to St Emillion. Highly recommend."
