"I can't begin to describe how lovely this cottage is. Located next to the hosts' home at the edge of town. The patio is right on the canal, beautiful and quiet, perfect place to enjoy a coffee or watch the birds. House is very cute and comfortable and the hosts were accommodating. Note that the washing machine is not in the cottage but is in the hosts' home - they very kindly washed a load of laundry for us and hung it out to dry. The bikes were a fantastic inclusion to help us explore the area (which I highly recommend), but could benefit from some maintenance."

"The check in went smoothly. Then we got to our room and struggled to open the door. When we got in our room was 25 degrees. Back to the desk to get ac on. Then out for dinner and returned to a door that would not open. Back to the desk again. Toilet also ran on and on."

"Like many places in Europe it could make improvements to handicap accessibility. If you arrive after dark the address takes you to a closed up street of shops, and the entrance and parking you want is around the block on the ocean side."

"Comfortable bed, in a spotless room with a beautiful view of the canal and garden. Thoughtful outdoor seating offering choice of sun or shade, and privacy. Delightful buffet breakfast of boiled eggs, cheeses, meats, cereals, fruits, breads, yoghurt and juices. A very relaxed two night stay."

"The staff (Coco, Steve, Thomas, Charles) were exceptional, and the only reason I give the hostel high marks. The property was clean, the beds comfortable, but the bad part was the kitchen with non-working fridge, no soap and paper towels- those would be nice even at an economy class hostel. "We had a wonderful stay with Deep and Julie on their Catermeran. We enjoyed some wonderful sailing and anchored near an Island for the night. We had a lovely evening sharing stories over dinner and watching the sun go down! I was impressed how warm and cosy the boat was and how well we all slept! Waking up surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery in the morning was very special and we enjoyed basking up the sunshine before setting sail. It was a great adventure for both children and adults alike! "
