「Set in a quiet village centre; this hotel was just lovely. A warm welcome from the host, who explained everything about the room and gave me pointers to all the restaurants/bars nearby. Comfy bed, lovely shower and bath, Nespresso machine, smart TV which also had BBC 1/2/News for us travelling from the UK. 「Based on the picture that is given online, it is a little deceptive as the room was a lot smaller than expected. In saying that, one has to remember that the older properties in Amsterdam are very narrow, to cram in many rooms, then the rooms are not going to be that large. 「Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center.
