“TV not user friendly. Toilet sat Exceptionally low down those of us with bad knees, Pillows all had poor neck support.”

“This is average, we like it, getting noise morning time from back for dump truck.”

“The hotel is in a good area, it's close to bojangles and the famous "Haywood Smokehouse". The owners let us check in early which was a plus! The room is old looking, pillows were flat, there was some repairs. Room was clean. We might stay here again.”

“Very clean room, great location. We parked, got checked in and went across the street for dinner. (AMAZING shrimp tacos) It was a Friday and live music was playing just down the street. ( walking distance)”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Frenchie was very helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to converse with. Rooms are clean, staff are polite and friendly. We will stay there again when we come back to Franklin.”

“I am restricted to wheel chair normally put on first floor the next guy checked in was put on the first floor.the room was okay but filled with furniture could not move without hitting something moved some stuff to the side. The hotel is hard to find if you are not familiar had to circle the town four times to find it with the google map looking straight at it it is hidden behind rows of fam machinery. A tall sign would be useful if allowed Other tha the above the hotel is nice I would stay……

“Friendly staff”

“The room was clean but you could smell the room before you even opened the door. Wasn't sure if it was cleanser or air freshener or what but it was overwhelming and hard to relax. Also the room was so small you could barely walk around the beds to get to the sink (which was oddly far away from the bathroom) or the bathroom itself. Was not a welcoming environment in the room at all. The river in back was nice but the property itself is right off a main road with railroad tracks you have to cross……

“We had read some of the negative reviews and were hesitant about staying at this property but our experience was very good. We had 2 rooms. Clean hotel and helpful staff. Very nice and quiet. We thought the breakfast that is offered is good enough. 2 to 5 minute drive to downtown Bryson City. No complaints. We would stay here again.”

“Great place to stay. Very clean and well managed. One block from the shops and restaurants in Bryson City. Older motel but we appreciated the warm welcome and a clean place to stay and everything was in working order. Small shower. Water pressure was adequate. Only thing I didn’t care for was the extra inside deadbolt or chain was missing from the door. We like the extra door lock. Would stay there again to be close to town.”
