10/10 Excellent
"At first look our room felt a bit basic and tired and the bed wasn't the best. However, this was soon paled into insignificance by the good food excellent staff and lovely facilities. An old building but very clean."

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

8/10 Good
"Always like this hotel - and the staff have always been helpful. When i requested a quiet room they moved me to a room overlooking the garden area . All good, clean and comfy, complimentary water etc. They seem to have removed real ales from the bar which is a shame - although fantastic bar opposite in the station so not a biggy!"
