「This was an amazing find. The rooms were very spacious beautiful decorated and very warm. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant on the evening and the meal was delicious. Loved the decor of the bar/restaurant and the open fires and candles created a very homely feel. Reasonably priced too. 」

「Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. 」

「Mattress was fab. Room too. Staff polite. Bfst good although people waited for hot eggs. When ppl settled the bill and they haven’t checked out yet cleaners should be knocking before entering should be a must.」
