「The hotel staff are good especially reception and the gym but the spa which I was looking forward to it Wasn’t great You have to pay extra so my husband couldn’t use the facilities even though I had 3 treatments Which were not great the therapists are only just out of training yet they charge full price I must admit I was lucky with my facial which was excellent But the whole spa experience is not worth the money」

It was my partners birthday and they really went out of there way to make him feel special. The restaurant was beautiful and the food created by some very talented chefs was delicious. 「The hotel was in a great location. Around a 20 minute drive from all the little trips we had planned on our weekend. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were very clean. A little outdated but clean. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good too. I would happily stay here again !」

「This hotel is in a very old Tudor style building with heaps of charm and quirkiness. This is a popular and busy pub/restaurant/hotel. Our room was on the top floor with access by stairs with high risers. The double bedroom was small with only one bedside table and no cupboards and only one stool so it is best suited to a one night stay. The room was clean and tidy with again the charm of an uneven floor which is not a problem just be aware. As the room is close to the roof it can get very warm...

「The room was comfortable and the bedding was immaculate, the attention to detail was lacking in that surfaces were dusty, the tea and coffee facility was sparce and empty milk jigger left amongst fresh supply. Bathroom was functional apart from toilet seat which was a bit wobbly. All in all we had a comfortable stay. The hotel is tired and needs some tlc.」
