Bar/restaurant area was really nice and the lady serving at the bar was really lovely. We will definitely stay again. Ate at the restaurant called Amni across the road and it was excellent. Loads of choice of lovely restaurants nearby and main shopping area just round the corner made it a brilliant location.”

“quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”

“Very nice property with friendly staff. Location is a short walk to town where there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The majority of the rooms are in the building across the parking lot from the hotel restaurant and river. Partial view river views look across the parking lot and are quite limited but pleasant. ”

“My stay at Abode was relaxing as always. All the staff are always polite, helpful and happy to see you. The hotel provides all you need for a short stay and has an amazing location right by the racecourse. The only slight downside is that the hotel is now starting to show signs of understandable wear and tear which can detract from the experience. The beds are very comfy and rooms are always clean.”

It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
