I don’t mind older rooms as long as they’re clean, and I was pleasantly surprised that the air‑con vent cover and bathroom fan cover were very clean — many hotels overlook those areas. The only downside was the bathroom sink. There is visible mould along the top seal, noticeable in the mirror reflection, which made us uncomfortable using it. The toilet is also quite old and the flushing is not very strong."

Also, all the room doors close very loudly by themselves, sometimes waking guests up in the middle of the night with a loud bang."
