the staff is incredibly friendly, no matter the reception, breakfast lady and housekeeper. I would.like to express my special gratitude to staff named Nook. since my own slippers were taken by other guest from my room locker. Nook promised to look for me and he made it after 10 minutes! Thank you Nook and all Makkachiva staffs.

Small and cozy boutique hotel in the old city. Quiet at night. Everyone is very polite and carry a smile. Large room with artistic decor throughout. Comfortable bed and large daybed for lounging or reading. Great breakfast. If I go again, I will not do anything but enjoy myself inside the lovely Makka Chiva!

漂亮的飯店但還可更好
是一間非常具有藝術氣息的飯店 ，很漂亮 。服務人員親切有禮 ，笑容可掬 。早餐有套餐可選擇 ，還算美味 。唯我們住的307房 ，浴室的水量非常小 ，小到洗澡要洗好久，我記得我沖頭沖好久啊 ！再來 ，wifi滿不穩定的 ，後來還是用手機的網路順暢些 。

清邁古城內，鄰近星期日夜市，離機場只時十多分鐘車程
酒店位置十分方便，位於古城內，樓下便是星期日夜市，附近亦有不同餐廳，按摩店等。 員工親切友善，十分留意客人需要，主動提供幫助。 由於酒店只有約三十房間，客人不多，早餐並不是自助餐，但非常豐富，並提供麵包、果汁、咖啡。早餐有十多種選擇，一星期也試不完。 酒店環境清潔。客人入酒店時，需要把鞋子留在地下鞋櫃，換上酒店的拖鞋。酒店員工更會在酒店內赤腳行走。 唯一缺點是酒店內有很多植物，故有不少蚊蟲，出入都要塗蚊拍水。

優點: 1. 酒店設計營造出藝術氛圍 2. 位置便利，旺中帶靜 3. 早餐（set) 供應時間由6:00 - 12:00, 選擇逾10款，份量十足 4. 房間佈置優雅 5. 環境潔淨 6. 早餐服務員勤快有禮貌，服務貼心 缺點: 1. 睡床不太舒適 2. 前台員工較欠熱誠（比起我之前住的Bed Nimman), 但如你有需要，他們都盡力辦到。 3. 沒有衣櫃，掛衣空間十分有限

Convenient location with Comfortable room
Good location near airport and situated in centre of old city. Walking distance to temples and night markets. Staff are nice and helpful. Room is large with excellent a/c providing a quiet environment. Many choices for breakfast and they did very well and delicious. Moreover, pest control is also good. However, there is no door for the showering compartment and the toilet floor is easily wet. Anyway, stay in this hotel is really relaxing and convenient. Highly recommend if you do not enjoy swimming pool activity.

Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent breakfast and service. Mini bar inside the room is free of charge and they will refill everyday. It is my friend's birthday trip, hotel staffs prepare a birthday surprise to her. What a warm welcome to us.

What an amazing little hotel! This is a great place for first time visitors to Chiang Mai. Great location near plenty of shops. Food is great and room and service is even better. Will definitely be staying again in the future!

Makkachiva was exactly what I wanted. Hotel was in the heart of the Old City but quiet and peaceful. Staff were lovely. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Location was fantastic, right down the street from the Sunday Night Market. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy to get around by tuk tuks.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel located in the heart of the Old city with very friendly staff. We checked in easily and were shown to our room. The hotel has a no-shoe policy so you remove your shoes in the lobby and they provide you with slip-ons to wear around the hotel. I loved how relaxing it is and the fact that it's located across the street from a temple adds to the ambience. The hotel is an art hotel and features beautiful artwork throughout as well as lanna reliefs in each room. It is conveniently located with shopping spots within walking distance and is down the block from the Sunday Night Market. You could easily use Grab or a tuk-tuk to visit the Night Market, which is also close by. One of the best aspects of this hotel is the breakfast! The menu is robust and delicious, and the serving is very generous and filling. I definitely recommend giving this hotel a try if you're spending time in Chiang Mai!

Beautiful spot. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were especially helpful. Yard at the front desk really helped us out with mailing cards home and printing some bag tags.
