"Unique, simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
Brilliantly located for all the local sites in wonderful Fort Kochi and the ferry terminal.
Delightful waterfront restaurant- probably the best location to dine in the city. Watching the boats and ships was a real treat.
Extremely helpful staff at the front desk and the band practice next door was a complete treat!
Perfect place to start our Indian adventure."
"This wonderful historic house will give you a feel for Kochi's history and is a treat to stay in. The food at Koder House is fabulous, and incredibly reasonably priced. Staff is amazing, attentive and goes way out of their way to be helpful. You can expect, and will get, the kind of help that is not easily forthcoming at hip hotels nearby. Rooms are quiet, the ac and hot water are reliable, and the building is charming. Only drawback is finicky wifi, but that's not atypical in Fort Kochi. Koder...
"Beautiful and unique property full of character. The AC room on the ground floor was spacious and comfortable. Well located for all the attractions of Fort Kochi and at a surprisingly low price. Five star service from our host. "
"Despite me having 5 e-mails to the establishment that i was arriving late (2 am) there was no attempt to organise entry. I had to sleep on the floor outside the apartment that morning. The apartment was comfortable and value for money but it was showing its sge. There was no internet and tv was inoperable. I had the apartment to myself but it could have got pretty crowded if all the rooms were occupied."

"This is an exceptional property, with extensive amenities, an attentive and cheerful staff. It is beautiful and in a very convenient location, with great access to both Mattancherry and Fort Kochi. When we arrived we found the hotel to be very well staffed. Even though we were too early to check in, there was a flood of activity to welcome and accommodate us. Our bags were secured for us while we went exploring. Upon our return, we were promptly checked in and shown to our room. The room itself was spacious, well appointed, and immaculate. While staying at the hotel, we deeply enjoyed the breakfast buffet and high tea, which were included in the cost of our room. Although we used them less, the library, the pool, the game room, and the business center were all very nice and comfortable. It cannot be overstated that the very helpful staff were a particular highlight of our stay. Whatever our need, whatever our question, they were readily available, dutifully attentive, and palpably cheerful. We had multiple delightful conversations with staff members as they assisted us in various ways. We were not necessarily “easy” guests either. We made a number of special requests. Even though the staff was not able to grant all of our wishes, they dealt with each issue very respectfully and efficiently. It was a wonderful stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation."
"This stay was amazing. The hotel is close to lots of tourist areas and well situated It was clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble for them. The chef was happy to prepare us wonderful meals. Sunita especially was kind and attentive, and she helped us with a lot of our questions. If she couldn’t help directly, she was sure to signpost us to someone who could! We felt extremely welcomed and I would recommend anyone staying in this area to stay here! "
"Great location, pool was excellent shape. Loved the wine bar and cafe. Room was very spacious and plenty of space. Staff was very friendly and anticipated every need. "
