Island Getaway

This property was fantastic. We loved the location, the views, and the pool was great. The outside of the property could use some TLC but the Caribbean weather conditions are harsh and it did not distract or deter our enjoyment of the property.

St. Croix is the best!

We had a great week staying on St. Croix!We have maid several trips to St. Croix, we usually stay up near cane bay area. This was our first time staying on the east side. We loved the quietness of the location and the house was very comfortable. We decided we like the cane bay location better for the activities we like best. But overall, the house was good, it is in need of updates, but we don't mind ascetics as much as the amazing view and getting to relax for a few days. If you don't mind driving a ways to the majority of the activates on the island, this place is a great, private, affordable, and spacious place to stay.

Beautiful Views

Incredible views of the ocean, seconds to the beach (walking), literally EVERYTHING you need to include beach toys, professional quality snorkel equipment, towels, etc. Kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of cookware, spices, plates, and drink equipment. Tonnes of room for a family of six as well. Highly recommend! Helene was wonderful and meet us with fresh mangos to boot.

Wonderful vacation

We were greeted by Helene and her husband and they gave us a tour of the property. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. The house is located about 20 minutes from plaza east (market) and 35 minutes from some of St. Croix most beautiful beaches. I think this is the perfect location for a family that wants privacy yet not to far from the excitement.

A Million Dollar View

This was a dream come true. This is a beautiful house and has everything you need to relax and enjoy the view. Lounging in the pool and watching the sunset was awesome. Our host was a kind, wonderful lady who took great care of us. I would love to return again.

Amazing Location and Views

The house was very average for the amount of time we actually spent in the house (we slept and had breakfast, otherwise we were off exploring the island). It gave us a place to sleep and shower comfortably, however there was a lack of charm. If you have Verizon- you’ll get zero cell reception, and the WiFi wasn’t great. Minimal working appliances (dishwasher not great, blenders didn’t work). The pool and outdoor space were incredible.

Beautiful view/quiet

Positives: Helene was extremely helpful, met us at the airport and had our taxi follow her to the villa. She resolved a WiFi issue quickly. The view overlooking the sea was spectacular! Pool was about 16’ x 40’, we used it every day. Nice large kitchen and bedrooms. Negatives: A bit far from the airport, a $90 cab ride for 3 adults one way. Also a $60 cab ride, one way, to Chrisiansted to the boardwalk, restaurants/bars, shops. Consider renting a car if you stay at this property. All in all we had a nice, relaxing stay at a beautiful location.

Perfect Location

Perfect vacation! We loved our stay, everything was clean and working. Helene was incredible and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. She came almost every day to do things for us. The local beach had seaweed but we wanted to get out and explore all the other beautiful beaches anyway. It was the best trip!

Great Vacation

Property manager provides privacy, professional, and was sympathetic, we had a good time. The property is spacious. The beach on the south side wasn’t accessible due to sea weeds issues, but the north side beaches were enjoyable. It’s cheaper buying food from the local people and farmers then the supermarkets. Overall I would recommend this place to others.

Great Vacation Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and they were so helpful. The home was more spacious than we expected and was well equipped for preparing meals. We used the beautiful pool area every day. The pool is large and though not heated, it was quite refreshing! The entire pool deck is huge with plenty of seating and places that offered shade. The views of the sea are amazing and so were the sounds of the waves. We would definitely rent this villa again.

Aqua Blue is all you Sea

Stop......look no more. This Villa has everything and more. The view, the pool,the kitchen is well equipped, beautiful decor and close to great restaurants. The owners Martin and Helene were such gracious hosts. They were so helpful with everything even when our flight cancelled let us stay an extra night. I can't say enough about them. They treated us like family in every way. I would highly recommend this Villa. We have stay in many villas on all the islands and this one is great.

Birthday Celebration

Our family of 5 called this location home for six (6) days to celebrate my birthday. Then owner met us, gave us a tour, was very thorough with details and even brought us sweet mangos. Then house provided more than enough space for our needs and was well stocked with many items. The kids loved the pool just as much as I did and also the view. There are a few visitors on the property (iguanas and deer) and we were able to get pictures and videos of them as well. My only small complaint is the area does not have the best cell phone service signal. Our family of 5 use 4 different cell phone service providers and most of us had issues with either making/receiving calls, making/receiving text, and access to webpages.

Wonderful home with movie screen views

Helen and her husband were very kind and welcoming. They met us at the property and showed us around. They even dropped off a few coconuts for us to sample after we arrived. The home is spacious, inviting, and the views are to die for. Fans and ac units in every room, plenty of towels and huge kitchen make your stay inviting. Wifi, cell service , and TV were spotty at best but me and my family enjoyed the time to deconnect and enjoy the beautiful island. We spent the majority of our time visiting the different beaches around the island, but when we were home the pool and deck is where we stayed. The pool is clean and the water was nice. The deck is huge with the most amazing views. We ate all our meals outside enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves. The local beach had a ton of seaweed during our stay but a quick trip in any direction had plenty of different options. The east side of the island is great, very relaxing with very few people on any of the beaches we visited. Also great food options minutes away. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting st croix!

Paradise

We loved our visit to St. Croix, and our stay at the Aqua Blue Villa. It was absolutely beautiful. The view is breathtaking! The only reason for the 4 stars versus 5 stars is that there are a few repairs that need to be done for minor things. There was an issue when we first arrived, but Martin and Helene were quick to make sure that it was taken care of. We would definitely love to return for another visit! The pool was so much fun, and the house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed all the extras from pool toys, to soaps, shampoos, and a very well stocked kitchen. We were given a fruit basket and bottle of rum by Helene & Martin, that we used to make wonderful rum punch drinks! Visiting Buck Island for snorkeling, Udall Point, the Rum distillery tour, and the beer drinking pigs in the rain forest, are all some of the things you should put on your to-do list. Angry Nates, The Buccaneer, and The Palms resort are very good places to eat. The Casino is very close by as well as a good pizza place. You definitely need a car to get around as the villa is located in a more remote area. But, it is well worth the extra drive. It is definitely paradise!!

Another Fabulous Stay At The Aqua Blue Villa

This was our second trip to the Island and stay at the Aqua Blue Villa. It was like being away for a year and going home again. I wondered if the second time around at the Aqua Blue Villa would be as great as the first time. I have to say, that the second time was even better on so many levels. The fact that we knew how to get to the villa on our own and where to shop for groceries made our trip even more relaxing. The addition of a A/C in the Main living area made all the difference in the world. The property was as expected, Clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Arriving at the Aqua Blue Villa this year, we thought we would get out more...but again we spent the first three day at the villa, relaxing and enjoying the property, taking our morning walks, enjoying the views of the area. After visiting more of the island this time, we have concluded that the South Slob Area, where the Aqua Blue Villa is located, is the most beautiful part of the island.. We were treated to a spectacular event this year of seeing hundreds of thousands of yellow butterflies flying across the property everyday from about 9am to 3pm....You can' t help but think, that the Aqua Blue Villa is just a magical place in a great location. Again most of our time was spent outside in the pool area. Helene was great as ever...seeing her again was like visiting an old friend. The welcome basket of fruit and rum was excellent. When I return again, I will stay at the Aqua Blue Villa...for me, there is no other place to stay...Aqua Blue Villa is truly my Home away from Home. Thanks again Helene...I will be returning

Beautiful home with terrific views and everything you need!

We stayed at Aqua Blue for 10 nights earlier this month on our first (but not last!) trip to St. Croix. Helene and (Martin) Massicott were helpful and easy to deal with when planning our trip. They met us at the airport to lead us to the villa which in hindsight was extremely helpful, since they drive on the left down there it was much easier to have someone to follow, not to mention it took us a few days to get our bearings. The house located just past the Divi Carina Bay resort and the Casino on the east end of the island. We enjoyed being outside of town, but a car is definitely required. One thing we found very useful is that there are signs all over the island pointing to the casino, so getting home after adventuring was always pretty easy. The views from the villa and on the drive to/from are breathtaking! Pretty much every time we rounded the corner at Turner Hole we were awestruck by the scenery. The villa itself had everything we needed - plenty of towels/linens, fully stocked kitchen, some essentials in the pantry from previous guests, plenty of seating inside and out, pool toys/floats, washer & dryer, etc.. There were lots of left behind bottles of sunscreen and bugspray in the half-bath which came in handy since we didn't go shopping the first night we arrived. We happened to be there during the Geminids meteor shower and getting to lay in the pool while looking up at the night sky with shooting stars streaming by every few minutes was spectacular! The views during the day were impressive as well and you can hear the ocean from the villa which was great! We enjoyed walking around the grounds and seeing all the wildlife (small lizards, geckos, iguanas, deer, butterflies, hummingbirds, etc..) while we stayed there. Helene and Massicott were both very friendly and we felt they were just the sort of folks you want to rent from, available if needed, but not imposing. They left a big fruit basket and bottle of rum to welcome us to the villa and even dropped off a couple coconuts for us to enjoy (read: make rum drinks with). Thank you for a wonderful experience, we look forward to visiting again!
