"Great apartment in a nice quiet part if Lewisham, very green and an easy bus/walk to Crystal Palace park, cafes/restaurants nearby, and a short distance to train connections. Easy, free, on street parking in the area. "

"Despite me getting back to their email straight away, they did not confirm the check in time (you have to meet someone at the property) until the day before and that was after many ignored messages and calls. They asked for a £250 deposit on a 1 night stay that a week later is yet to be returned (there is no argument that the property was left in exactly the condition it was found). The shower was broken and there was no hot water. They asked for extra money on leaving for an "extra linen"...

"Pros: Lovey space that's been obviously cared for and updated. Convenient location across from the underground, lots of good restaurants in the area. Great communications - issue with bedding was resolved quickly. Clear instructions for accessing the property. Cons: No paper towel or dishtowels for the kitchen so it was drip dry only. Only 1 hand towel was provided for the bathroom and 4 towels for the shower which can be a challenge for 5 people. Also, no hotwater for the shower sonwe gave...

"Beautiful spacious home. I booked this residence as I was attending an event at Brixton Academy, home is within walking distance or a quick Uber. Lovely quiet street, also loved the black and white cat that visited us over the weekend. Would stay here again. "

"Nice, clean, well presented, and warm room and very pleasant staff. Balham has lots of options for dining, feels safe and is easy to get to, especially by the tube. The guest house is only a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) from Balham centre and tube. I have stayed here previously and will definitely use again."

"Great location, smooth check in and comfortable room. Very clean, big, stylish bathroom with roll top bath and separate walk in shower. Decent breakfast available at the weekend in the pub downstairs. Friendly staff, great value, a bit of a hidden gem. "
