Nicely decorated near the Square

Excellent location within walking distance of Oakley Square with great restaurant options. House was clean and nicely decorated. Host was friendly and easy to reach. The house is on a moderately busy street so there are occasionally noisy vehicles driving by, and the upper floor gets a little bit of noise from the nearby highway, but it's not too bad. We had a pleasant stay.

Nice place, some safety concerns

This house is newly remodeled and could be very nice with a few changes. The beds were comfortable. The house is on a busy street and seemed best to back into driveway so you can see when you leave. It has some nice furnishings, however there are a several safety items. Both sets of stairs (up and down) are steep narrow and have no hand railings. I would not want to stay with a small child or older person as they would have difficulty with them being steep with nowhere to hold onto. They replaced the doors on 2 of the bathrooms and the first floor bedroom with sliding doors. They look nice but aren’t practical and come off the rails and potential to get your fingers pinched, which I did. The bedroom downstairs faces the driveway and there is no curtain or blind so anyone can see in. The basement casements windows are very old and wasn’t comfortable with my daughter sleeping downstairs. Most homes have the glass block for security.
