“Hi, I'm satisfied my stay and all your attitude. I can feel the staff very welcome us. I appreciate and highly recommended to stay. A male staff help me to register membership , I stays over 30 days Holiday inn in the pass few year in different country. No staff proactive help me register the membership. And the female staff asked me again when I check out. And she also asked me how to improve. Although the room is not perfect, and somethings need to improve. She really mark it down on the……

“Location was very good near to highway 401 staff was very good but the room was not good after closed all the curtains to much light was coming in the room and bed was very old and not comfortable we couldn't sleep even 3 hours on that bed”

“Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!”

“Great spot to stay. We originally booked because we thought there was a restaurant onsite but it was still a beautifully maintained property. We saw some swans in the river close by and were able to take a 5 min uber to a great restaurant. The staff was very friendly with easy check in and check out process. Will be staying again!”

“The continental breakfast was the same everyday for the 5 days we were there and not the best. The cleaners never cleaned our room, they only put clean towels and made the bed 4 of the five days. It’s not a bad place but definitely needs a really good cleaning.”

“Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again.”

“The property is in desperate need of refurbishment. The carpets are extremely stained and dirty and things like the trim in the bathroom and the flooring in the bathroom around the edges is all falling apart. The bed was comfortable but there is no USB by the bed that were functioning which made it very inconvenient. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was just so-so.”

“Food was absolute zero, not something I looked forward to, disposable paper plates provided if you want, I don’t want to imagine taking cereal in a disposable paper plate or making kids take cereal in that kind of plate. The room is simply bare, the bathroom door will not open entirely as it is leaning on the toilet seat 😂 and a lot more but I will stop at less !”

“The room was clean. The staff were nice. Breakfast was ok. The heat was super loud even on low. We asked for more shampoo and conditioner and they must have forgotten about us. Someone must have blown a breaker. We were out of power in the morning for an hour. Just as I was getting ready for work. Very frustrating as it made me late. Not a nice way to start my day.”

“Absolutely loved the water refill station. It was wonderful to have that and the ice machine so close together. Reception staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was hot and delicious and plentiful and the staff ensured selections were replenished as necessary. Parking was plentiful even though it was a very busy weekend at the hotel. It will be our go to place when we go back next year.”
