「The room was very run down with broken wood around the windows, the bathtub was covered in hair and the cup in the bathroom had old toothpaste in it, the handle on the bathroom door was loose and didn't lock and the TV remote didn't work.」

The bed was comfy and I had an amazing night's sleep. Breakfast was served at a time that was convenient to me and everything was very fresh. The bread and jam were also home made. The property is in a very quiet location and in lovely gardens and provides a great place to stay during a visit to the lake district. 」

「Room was clean, the decor was in need of a refresh. The carpet on the stairs leading up to the rooms is very off putting and had me worried about the room itself. So I was pleasantly surprised. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok, plenty of hot water and the shower was great. Breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant. 」

The room was small, and severely dated, with a toilet that faced the bath tub, and as a 6ft tall person, it was not a comfortable experience. The bath tub was so old that the white has come off, and it was a disgusting yellow with deep scratches on the bottom.
