"Room was clean and the breakfast was delicious, but, this wasn’t the experience I expect of a Kimpton. Clearly understaffed. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and no one offered us so much as a coffee while we waited. The room was fine but nothing special, very noisy second floor room right next to the elevator with a bed that was not a full King. I asked to be moved to a quieter room but was told “no at the rate you paid” despite the fact I had paid for a nice King room. We wanted to have a night cap at the bar but it was covered in dirty drinks so we sat at a table, not served, for 15 min. Right next to the bar. When I went to the bar to ask for a drink I was told if I wanted table service I had to go back over to the host (no one was at the host stand) and wait to be seated. We just left. When I went back 15 minutes later to get a drink to take up to my room the bar was still covered in empty dirty glasses. In the morning we waited a long time to be seated for breakfast and to be served. We came to have a nice stay for our anniversary and it was was a huge disappointment."
