"Lovely hotel, great location. The only downside is where our room was located, it looked out onto the carpark/road so had to keep our blinds closed all day as people could look in and it was a little noisy at night, however the room the was lovely so asking for a higher room or one in the other buildings would be preferred"

"Hotel well located. Check in friendly and an added bonus that we were upgraded. Staff very helpful and room great, although view of car park a little disappointing for a suite. Leisure facilities very clean and well managed. Would definitely stay here again."

"The apartment location and facilities are great, but a little warm in the summer with the full height glazing, but there are cooling fans that can be used. The only down side is that the parking space isn't great at all. It's really tight, stuck in a corner with two walls to the front and side and a column to try and squeeze past too. We had to reverse down the car park and then drive into the space as you can't open the drivers door (at all!), but remember and pull in your wing mirrors. This is the only way you can get in and out of the car within the space. Luckily there isn't a dedicated parking space directly opposite, so you get some space to turn the car into the space. Watch out for the wall mounted air conditioning units if you do decide to reverse in, when opening the boot. It would be really helpful to advertise the tight space in the advert."

"We had a great time here, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. The hide a bed of course was very springy but that’s to be expected with a hide a bed haha. The only problems we had were the lack of drip coffee pot since we aren’t espresso drinkers, which the house keeper said she was in the process of getting them in the rooms. Our other problem was my fault for not requesting a lower floor when booking the room, we were up on the second floor and had lots of luggage so I had to haul it all up and down. So if you don’t do stairs well or will have lots of luggage, make sure you stay in the hotel or request a lower floor in the cloisters. The location is great since it’s off the Main Street it’s not too loud at night but it’s still nice and close to the bridge to go into the centre of town. I would definitely come stay here again if I’m back in York."

"Great apartment with everything you need in it . It has the perfect location as its a 5 minute walk to the centre of the city . The building its self is spotless and very secure & its a big plus with the secure parking on site . The only down side was the weather was in the 30 s & the apartment held the heat making the temperature in the apartment extremely warm even with all the windows open & the both fans that were provided running .I know this is not the norm but it could be in the future my be an air conditioning unit in the bedroom could be an upgrade for the future. All in all we had a fantastic break and the accommodation added to the experience with its condition ,central location, security & the secure parking ."
