A unique experience but……
The dome is a unique, well furnished and comfortable place to stay and it is located on a beautiful property.
The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the chickens and rooster that have free roam of the property.
For a vacation destination, I really do not want to be awakened at sunrise by a rooster crowing under the dome.
We would have loved to take more advantage of the beautiful sitting areas, but every time we opened the door, we were swarmed by chickens, and didn’t really want to have our toes pecked. My wife gets up much earlier than I do and was looking forward to having coffee on the deck in the morning, but after opening the door to the dome and having a couple chickens standing there wanting to come in, she didn’t feel good about it.
There is a chicken that wanted to fight her reflection on our Jeep. We were concerned as a couple of times the chicken had actually landed on the car, and didn’t really want to have the paint scratched by its claws.
The ducks that live at the pond were very cool and friendly, but they would wander up, say hello, and waddle back to the lake.
We ended up feeling like we were trapped in the dome, and yes, the views are fantastic and the deer that wander around the property are beautiful, but we can only say that without the chickens we would highly recommend this property, but with them, we cannot.
