"Pros: Amazing location. Door and security staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Shower was hot and powerful. Cons: Reception staff were terrible - we had the unfortunate luck of having to deal with Alex several times and he was disinterested and frankly quite rude. For the price of the hotel, additionally charging $4 an item to store bags after check out is really taking advantage of travellers with no other option. Rooms are ok, tired. No tea/coffee making facilities, not even a water glass in the rooms, we had one plastic cup to share between 3. Overall would expect more from the Hyatt brand."

"best location to go uptown & downtown manhattan. Penn station is next door if you go to Washington DC, Flixbus is one block away if you go to Phlky or Toronto."

"The room was clean and the water was hot, but this is a 2 star hotel. The towels and sheets are threadbare. The mattress is hard. The comforter is thin. The rooms are dark because the lighting is poor. My lamp switch was broken so the only way to turn it off was to unscrew the bulb. The toilet ran constantly. The bathroom fan rattled loudly. The internet was inconsistent. The television didn't work. There are no amenities. Staff put the code in for your door before you can get to it to answer it. The walls are so thin, I woke up to my neighbor's alarms. The location is convenient but I would only stay there again if I didn't have any other options."

"Large rooms by New York standards with huge, comfortable beds. Decent shower but smaller bathroom, ample towels. No in room amenities - not even water glasses, which feels quite stingy. Older building and fittings means there is a fair bit of noise - either from the street, aircon units if you are facing a light well (very dark) or from hallways. Staff helpful when needed."
