「Staff was friendly..Room was clean .Breakfast didn’t offer a very good selection..They should make tea and coffee available all day . Not just at breakfast 」

「My wife and I just stayed here for one night and found the hospitality was attentive and welcoming. The location is very convenient and provides for a nice walk along the river into town. The room and public areas are very clean and the bed (and linens) are incredibly comfy. We appreciate the new owners have only had the lodge for a couple of months and have plans to make things even better, but as it is, the lodge exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. 「We loved being right on the crystal waters of Toby Creek. The Riverbend units are beautiful. They're rustic and luxurious at the same time. Our kids loved their twin beds and large TV. They liked telling us we couldn't use their private bathroom. We enjoyed playing games we borrowed from the Embarc lounge by the fire and sneaking off to the nearby hot tub for an evening soak. 「The town and services are just on the other side of the river. Located just 2 miles down a well kept, dirt road, the lodge is secluded and quiet. Beautiful lodge with a grand open area with fireplace and sitting rooms. Breakfast was self serve and abundant. Very clean, everyone is asked to remove your shoes before entering the lodge, with slippers available. Definately recommend!」

「The front desk person that checked us in was friendly, and did a great job of explaining everything. Even walked us to the room to show how the locks worked and explained the tv set up. The room was very spacious and I loved the little kitchenette. Kettle, coffee maker, fridge, hot plate, toaster, all of the cutlery and pots we could need. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Walkable to the little town centre and restaurants and very quiet. Would absolutely stay here...

「The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.」

「Staying in this place was very comfortable. Nice place for both short and long term vacation. We got a penthouse for 5 day staying. 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom was great for couples or family. Although the location was about 15 minutes uphill from the Golden town but the view was totally worth it. We didn't have time to try all the facilities in the place recommended by the staff. Overall, this was a great place if you travel to Banff or Jasper.」
