“This property is in need of a refresh. The location near the harbor is nice, but the hotel is quite dated and shabby. There is a strong smell of deoderizer throughout. We were offered a room with a pullout couch and when we arrived, it was a rollaway cot that was clearly decades old. We checked out.”

“An absolutely lovely hotel in all regards other than the street noise. The location, rooms, staff, design are all first rate. The street noise through the single pane windows makes it seem like you are on 2nd Avenue in NYC. They can’t change them due to the historic nature and they do try to mitigate with white noise machines, but still very noisy. So bring your ear plugs and enjoy the lovely, lovely hotel”

“The Andrew Pinckney Inn is a lovely, quaint property conveniently located just steps from King Street and all of downtown Charleston’s attractions. The suite was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The service was friendly and professional with complimentary breakfast, manager’s reception, and bottled water.”

“Beautifully appointed hotel. Service was great and staff were friendly. Our 1 bedroom suite was large and comfortable and was cleaned everyday. There's wine, cheese and crackers at the library area next to the lobby from 5-6 pm nightly, which was nice. There's a complimentary breakfast basket, containing a rotating offering of egg/cheese biscuit or coffee cake/scone with fresh fruit during our 5 day stay. We dined at the in house restaurant once and food there was excellent.”

“The hotel is great and in an awesome location for food/shopping. The only challenge is parking so need to be ready to valet on the street as options are limited. I would definitely stay there again as the parking was not such a detractor as the hotel is lovely and the roof top bar is a must see.”

“My husband and I stayed here our wedding weekend. The hotel itself was beautiful and in a great location. I’m an interior designer so I loved the design. However, the only part that wasn’t particularly great was the staff. I expected that staff would be more friendly and willing to help but the overall vibe we got from the front desk staff was “meh.” It was a little disappointing especially since we tried to be kind to them (we even gave the front desk a few extra meals and leftover wedding……

“Reservations were for king size bed and was given 2 queen beds. Had to make a big stink about it because they said there was no room available with a king bed. After some back and forth, they eventually, somehow, found us a room with a king bed. They did make it right by picking up the bar tab for that evening and breakfast in the morning. ”
