「It wasn’t a place I would stay again. The staff were lovely though.」

「Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.」

「This was a good stop-over hotel. It's not conventional - just a few rooms but a well-stocked help-yourself breakfast room, and it worked well for one night and the owner, Julia, was lovely and helpful. The room was relatively small - but well appointed and tea/coffee options and bathroom toiletries were all good. It was really warm in the room which was even before the heatwave, and the blackout curtains really needed to be closed for privacy as there is no blind/net curtain which did stop...

「Lovely one night stay. The Sunday lunch was delicious, the room was lovely with a huge round bath. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I'm sure we'll return. 」

「Kingslodge Inn is a lovely English country inn conveniently located near Durham train station and bus station. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bar & restaurant offer great good in a cozy environment. Just note that there isn't an elevator; I had to carry my big suitcase one floor up.」

「This was an overnight stop on the Coast to Coast bike ride. The staff are great, property a little tired. Breakfast excellent. Relatively expensive but was a clean warm room bed for the night.」

「Booked last minute during cycling trip. Staff wentvout of their way to help with luggage and security of my bike. Room had everything and more including stocked fridge and microwave. 」
