The first run, we was put into smell like smoke like somebody smoked a cardinal cigarettes did not have no heat in the room move this to another room. We had ant problems, and troubles with the door working with the key card that we had had to have that redone several different times just not very happy with this go around in the eight years that we’ve been going to the red line, we’ve never had this kind of trouble before. not very happy with the outcome or the price.

The staff did not attend any of my calls to front desk. And also the heating in the room was not working.

First room wasn't even cleaned. Second one was flooded. Third one wasn't cleaned very well, needed vacuuming, and the keys wouldn't work. 2 towels and 1 coffee for a double room with 4 people. No cleaning for 3 days. Continental breakfast was basically nothing. Gounds in the coffee, wouldn't even try it!

After being checked in I asked where the room was located and all I got was straight across. Across where? Little to no direction. Got in the room, which was freezing so we attempted to turn the heat on. After 30 minutes still not change in the room temperature. tried calling the front desk and found out the phone didn't work. My husband and I both went to the front desk separately urging them to help us with the heat. After about an hour they gave us an oil heater to use since they didn't have anyone there to help. After a very cold night we tried to get breakfast and coffee, which there was none. There was a seating area with a coffee station, but no food was available and no coffee.

The room had a strange odor, mirrors had a smeared substance on them, toilet also had some gross remnants on the top of the seat. We were there approximately 5-10 minutes & decided to find another place to stay for the evening. I let the front desk clerk know that we weren't going to be staying due to it not meeting cleanliness standards. He didn't inquire as to what issues we had with the room, just said "OK". No mention of relocating us to a nicer/clean room. Also noticed that funds were not refunded to my account. We will not be staying at a Red Lion again.
