A very cozy place to stay with friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent sourcing on site ingredients and also drove great conversation. The honesty market was a nice touch to support local artists. Highly recommended.
I liked that the common room area was large so we could relax and talk with other guests about our vacation adventures.
Also, the breakfast made for use was very good and with lots of options.
Very comfortable attractive accommodations. Excellent breakfast. Friendly welcoming hosts, providing knowledgeable insight into farming practices in central Newfoundland, as well as social traditions.
Fun Farm experience feeding animals with farm to table breakfasts and optional special dinner with story telling.
Food was fresh and delicious!
The staff and owners were amazing.
A delicious breakfast almost entirely comprised of products raised on their own farm personally cooked and served by the lovely host! She was a delight and full of knowledge and a great storyteller! Highly recommend!
Clean, comfortable bedroom with small ensuite. We enjoyed the shared kitchen and living space, plus a home-cooked breakfast that included local eggs, produce, smoked ham. Eco-friendly options, such as a shampoo bar, instead of plastic bottles of product. The friendly owners and staff really made our stay enjoyable.

It was a lovely stay here at the farm house thanks to the kind hosts and owners. They made delicious breakfast and suggested lots of places to visit, also learned alot from the conversations we had. Will book this place again in the future.
A unique, comfortable, and very friendly spot to enjoy some downtime. The facilities were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. A fabulous homemade breakfast in the morning was followed by a tour of their working farm. A great experience all around at a reasonable price.
They have worked very hard to make the house and apartments/rooms very nice.
Breakfast was outstanding. The other guests were very nice and we had great conversations.
10 stars.
Perfect for a nice quiet stay in the country. Very reasonably priced and homey atmosphere. I was without a vehicle, so taxi from the airport cost me $50. Beautiful fresh cooked breakfasts provided as well as some self serve items. It would have been nice to have some options for other meals. I'd defiinitely come back if I was ever in the area again, but I'd rent a car.
Such a great place. Too bad we were not able to stay long. There is a shared bathroom, that was very clean. They offer a breakfast, which was probably outstanding with all their fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs - yes they have chickens, geese, lambs and vegetable gardens and strawberries growing there. However, we had to leave early to catch the ferry and we’re still offered a great continental breakfast. Such a refreshing and relaxing place to stay. A glimpse of living close to the land. They also host my add-ons, including farm to table experience.
I knew this was a working farm but I didn’t expect construction noise and no water upon arrival. Our room was spacious and comfortable but not sound proof at all. You can hear the other guests in the common spaces as well as getting up in the night. The opening and closing of doors is not quiet. You’ll also hear the staff in the early morning making breakfast and other guests chatting. Breakfast was disappointing. I thought it was going to be a delicious big farm breakfast. It was 2 overcooked hard boiled eggs, toast, a very small dish of yogurt, a couple of cherry tomatoes and green onions. There were also mediocre scones. Unfortunately, i I can’t say I found our stay relaxing nor peaceful. And the mosquitoes…!!! Oh well, we tried something different. It just wasn’t for us.
