“Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The location was also great, with the town centre within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The only issue was with the parking information. The listing stated that parking was available, but I later found out that it is only provided for guests staying 7 nights or more. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified……

“on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.”

“Had an amazing weekend at the lovely Beach Cottage. Stunning views, great location and the property had literally everything you could need. There were 10 of us and our dog for the weekend and the house still felt huge, lots of room for everyone. Immaculate bedding and towels, fully stocked kitchen utensils, pans, bbq etc. lovely walk down the coastal path to the amazing Porthtowan beach, local supermarkets only a short drive. 100% returning for another break when we can. ”

“This quiet and private location was ideal as a base from which to visit many of the attractions in Cornwall - Geevor Mine, Eden project, Bodmin Moor, Bodmin railway, Falmouth, St Michael's Mount etc. Sue was an excellent host and was there to greet us on our arrival. She was easily contacted if any help was needed (it wasn't). As a retired couple we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the property.”

“House was fabulous- the new kitchen and downstairs shower room are light and modern, the living room was really cosy, and beds were comfy. A great location too, right on the Helford River.”

“We booked accommodation for 4 adults for a trip to Cornwall. It was very well located for the Eden project, not far from the main road, spacious with 3 bathrooms and well equipped for a home from home feel. However a car is a necessity and it’s not even feasible to go for a run/ walk from the property as it is surrounded by narrow single track roads”
