Special week with family!

Overall it was very nice - a bit far for grandma and grandpa to walk to the beach but was fine otherwise. It was an issue that the home air conditioner was insuffiento cool the third story. The thermostat controls are on the second story which is the only controls for the entire house - that was the main problem. After calling maintenance they brought out a window unit for the third story and corrected the problem promptly. We had an awesome week! Thanks

A Broken Vacation

The OBX vacation home managed by SeaSide was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, we found the dishwasher in pieces, the basketball hoop had toppled over (left a softball side hole in the driveway, perfect to breaking your ankle while on vacation), and the screened-in porch door didn't work. The pool filters weren't working correctly, and no one cleaned the pool throughout our stay. The pool table was falling apart, and the house was filthy, with hair and trash everywhere. SeaSide's customer service was unhelpful, hanging up on us or claiming they didn't manage the issues. The only positives were a well-stocked kitchen and easy internet access. However, these small comforts were overshadowed by the overwhelming list of broken amenities and the overall lack of cleanliness. I strongly advise avoiding this property and anything managed by SeaSide.
