Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this location. There are minor repairs needed, but we have understanding as I'm sure everything will be addressed during the off-season and we stayed at this location late in the season. The amenities in this complex are great, with easy access to the beach. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. When we had an issue with our heat, we wished for better communication on the status of repair needed although the rental company responded in a timely manner when we asked questions. Great area to rent as you have quick access to the 4x4, historic Corolla, shopping, and dining.

Beautiful Easter Weekend w/family

House was perfect. Clean, plenty of room, comfy beds, good pillows (hard to come by in rentals or hotels) kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed for a huge Easter dinner, great location, close to a grocery store, and easy walk to the beach. Neighborhood is quiet and well taken care of. Responses to e-mails was excellent and easy access to get in the house provided by the rental company. Fit our party of 10 perfectly. Would definitely rent again.

Spacious, well located home with nice amenities, but cleanliness issues and unexpected pet fee made the stay less enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, the home well stocked with linens. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was ideal in a gated community. The welcome gift basket was a lovely touch and communication with the host, prompt. Unfortunately, there were also a number of issues that made our stay less enjoyable. Cleanliness was the main concern: the floors on all three levels did not appear to have been mopped, the rugs were heavily stained, the air filters dirty and the surrounding panels were covered in dust. We also noticed loose spindles on the patio railing, which could pose a safety issue. Ants and fruit flies were present, even with storing items in the refrigerator, thus ruining some of our groceries. Upon arrival, we found no toilet paper or dish detergent. In addition we were charged a pet fee even though we did not bring a pet. The contract specifically stated pets were not permitted without prior approval. When we inquired about this fee, the host informed us that it is “included in every reservation for this property to help cover the cost of a more thorough cleaning after each stay.” We respectively disagree, as the condition of the property did not reflect the level of cleanliness described. The lack of cleanliness and unclear billing practices makes it difficult to recommend this rental despite its convenient location and space.
