"Very comfortable bed. Room included a couch, easy chair, and desk/chair. We had a partial ocean view room and the view was excellent. From the balcony we could see the ocean in one direction and the sound in the other. Easy access to the beach. Decent breakfast including hot foods. "

"What a great place for our maiden voyage to the Outer Banks! The house was so spacious, bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone and then some. We did a lot of cooking because my daughter has a food allergy, kitchen was easy to work in and well appointed. The house is just a two minute walk to a great beach, but the pool was the big hit for the kids. We don’t have a pool when my kids are water babies, so that was pretty incredible. Pool was well appointed to with multiple Floaties and toys. And so many nice touches from the owner, little notes and special things left for us. We had a few questions here and there about the house, and Joanne was amazingly responsive. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next year! Oh, and our expedition to see the famous horses of Corolla was absolutely amazing!"

"Ocean Crush was a beautiful and relaxing get away. The house was gorgeous and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of silverware, pots, pans ect. The house also has multiple refrigerators, dishwashers, and a commercial ice maker which was so convenient since the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The home is located about 8 miles off of the paved road and the beach drive is an experience. The drive requires a high clearance 4x4 and we did see people get stuck in the sand without the right vehicle. The house is located within walking distance to the beach and the pool and tiki bar area was an amazing place to hang out as well. We did get to see multiple wild horses on the beach, grazing in the yard, and occasionally walking under the house! No need to go on a wild horse tour- they come to you! Overall a beautiful house and great beach location. "

"We booked The Salty Seahorse as a celebration for my youngest son graduating from high school. In all, there were 8 of use plus two dogs. The house worked well for us because my son and his friends had the entire lower level to spread out and enjoy. We didn’t use the hot tub as the weather was warm but the pool was refreshing. The wild horses visited us several time along with other wildlife such as blue heron and turtles. There were some housekeeping issues but Andrew was quick to respond and communication was excellent. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach and ocean amazing. "
