First time in Corolla

Pics were accurate and the house was very nice and clean. We enjoyed all the spaces, my only critique is that the mattresses seemed old and not very plushy or comfortable. Hot tub was nice too. The location was convenient to the resort pool and to the beach, just make sure you drive to the parking lot by 9:30 am on a summer day if you want a great parking space. Otherwise you can ride the trolley or go to the public access beach parking. We were early risers so we had no trouble getting a good parking space. Pools and grounds were beautiful and lots of shopping and great restaurants to eat dinner at, we will be coming back to Corolla!

Has potential

Beach was about a 10 min walk. House could use a thorough cleaning of air vents and shower grout. Be sure to request the hot tub to be turned on with Kees prior to your arrival so it’s ready to go. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Mattresses were comfortable but squeaky.

Great Location in Obx

A group of 8 friends stayed for a few days and had a great time. We did the horse tour (which the locals frowned upon-but we didn’t know that), kayaking on the sounds. Both events were fun and fairly inexpensive. I recommend renting bikes to see more during your stay. We had access to two sets of pools which were easy to access with a trolly service that was free. We had easy beach access that was in walking and driving distance- depending on which access you wanted to go to. I with the house supplied a little more toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags There’s a washer and dryer but bring soap. The down comforters were color stained, but clean. The hot tub was very nice and very hot. It’s suggested that you bring all food and drinks you want for the stay. Restaurants are packed, far and few in between and overpriced. Or…plan for one eat out day, and make a reservation far in advance for the place you want to eat. Everything closes early there, so if you are a night person, plan on partying it up at your house after 9 pm. Overall a great experience. I would come back.
