Welcome to your ultimate beach retreat in the heart of Corolla’s exclusive Carova 4x4 Beach. Accessible only by 4WD, you'll experience sand driving, coastal charm, local wild horse sightings and easy beach access. This 5 bd/4.5 bath home features stunning ocean views, 2-master suites w/private baths & decks, private saltwater pool/hot tub, open kitchen-dining-living layout & game room for quality family time. Guest maximum is 14.

Amenities:
A large saltwater pool, (open May-September/no heat available) hot tub, outdoor shower, gas grill, sea kayak, beach chairs and assorted gear, game room with pool table and shuffleboard, and assorted games and puzzles.

Floor by Floor:
Level 3 - offers a primary king master suite and main living areas, including an open fully stocked kitchen and great room with vaulted ceilings, living and dining areas, and half-bath on the landing area as you head downstairs. Enjoy decks on the east and west sides for both ocean and sunset views.

Level 2 - offers the main entryway from the front porch and offers 3 bedrooms, including a 2nd king master suite with private bathroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with 5 beds. The queen and bunk rooms share a full bathroom off the hallway. The laundry is also located on this floor.

Level 1 - offers a 5th bedroom with 2 queen beds and a full accessible from the bedroom and game room. The game room offers a 6’ pool table, shuffleboard, additional games and a queen sofa bed. This level also provides exits to the pool, hot tub and outside areas.

4x4 Access:
Reaching Carova Beach is part of the adventure - the home is accessible by driving approximately 9 miles on the beach sand. A properly equipped 4WD vehicle is required. 2WD or standard AWD vehicles cannot make the trip and may become stuck, which can result in towing charges. If anyone in your group won’t have a 4WD vehicle, we’re happy to share nearby paved parking options so you can ride out together. Once at the house, plan for about a 30-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. We are located in the Northern OBX of NC. Norfolk, VA is the closest airport, approximately 108 miles by car. Map view shows 2 miles to VA border, but the property is only accessible via Rt 12N through Duck and Corolla.

Pet Friendly:
Up to 2 dogs are welcome! Pet fee is $250.

Wild Horse Sightings:
The famous Corolla wild horses roam freely through Carova and are often seen near the house and on the beach - a memorable part of staying here!

Technical:
Wi-Fi is available on every level, with a Smart TV in the great room, 3rd floor master and 1st floor game room. A Bluetooth speaker is provided in the 3rd floor great room. Reliable cell service is available via a nearby cell tower at the Carova Fire Station.
