Family vacation

Wonderful home. I would suggest heating the pool to any vacationers that stay after Labor Day. It waa really warm outside but the pool was ice. I would have paid to have the pool heated if i had it do over.

Wonderful Stay with One Big Exception

We loved the spacious kitchen with two sinks and dishwashers, plus second refrigerator downstairs. Spacious living area, dining table for ten plus more at counter. Beach access nearby, but many steps which definitely wouldn’t work for some people. Nice beach. Lots of fun at pool and hot tub. Pool looked like not cleaned when we got there, but taken care of. Big issue: two bedrooms on ground floor where grandkids were to sleep. They woke up Sunday morning with 50-100 little millipedes crawling all over floors, up walls, headed up stairs. Our youngest was horrified. Had to evacuate. Ground floor. Called Brindley Beach, said they’d send someone. Called again. Stopped at office Wednesday where a very helpful Tiffany contacted pest control and they were there Wednesday p.m. Only a couple Thursday and Friday. A couple dozen Saturday. Kids would not return to bedrooms, so doubled up. Other than this, the house was a hit with the family!

Mildew, Cockroaches, Centipedes

Cockroaches. Centipedes. Strong mold-mildew smell throughout entire second floor. Dirty home. No broom. No oven mitts. 1/2 of stove did not work. This ended up being sub-rented through a local realtor- Brindley. When called with concerns told - “it’s been a busy rental season ...you can use the vacuum for a broom”. They were not busy enough to process the payment. I would NOT rent this home again or use Brindley Beach realty. Best of luck on your vacation.
