Great house!

Family Getaway

Wonderful place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every part of our Texas experience was amazing except we did not have hot water our entire trip and it could not be fixed. They did offer to move us but we did not feel like packing everything again for a two night stay. In the end, we were more than compensated so the friendliness and service is appreciated.

Perfect Location!

We've loved every home we've stayed in; however, this was "hands down" the best location and our favorite so far! The layout of the house was perfect. It backs up to Lake Gavin and the family loved just walking outside and being able to fish at any time without having to walk to a lake. The views were relaxing when sitting on the balcony. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed for meals.

It was well stocked with all our needs, the layout was perfect for our family, and overall cozy and relaxing. We had a wonderful timing staying at Cinnamon Shores. It was our first time and we’ll be back.I did want to share some feedback about the home...we saw/killed no less than 20 cockroaches throughout the home...bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen. It was pretty unsettling. The last night stay I woke up in the morning to a cockroach on my night stand.I understand there will be bugs, etc. since we’re by water but the number of cockroaches was significant during our time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental over all was in good shape. Kitchen had everything you needed. Fan made loud squeaking noise on second floor when on high power. Location was a good location. We had a hard time with the front door key locking and unlocking the door. We enjoyed the lake view from balcony. Could tell the house was dated compared to the other properties at CS we have stayed at but it was just fine for the time we were there. Beach chairs we rented were nice. Dylans and Lisabellas were delicious as always. As far as electronics, the Dishwasher, and Washer/Dryers were new and worked great. The Tv's in main living room and all but one bed room were older. But you really are not at CS to Watch TV.

We rented the Grace house. The overall development was great. Good helpful staff, nice amenities and food choices. Our house however was not cared for as it should have been. Needing paint and updating. It was also not as decorated as well as I would expect. Sofa was tired, kitchen appliances tired

July 4, 2015 Beach Vacation-Cinnamon Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our family vacation at Cinnamon Shores was wonderful and a lot of fun this year despite some minor issues that did not happen our last year at Cinnamon Shores. However, we will be back next year. The Management Team was very professional/responsive, but being July 4th, could not get a repair until after the 4th. The gas grill needs work/repair or replacement and/or throughly cleaned. I would recommend property if the gas grill replace. The repair to disposal was made the day we left.

Great Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Sunnyville for our first family vacation in several years and we had a great time. We had 6 adults and 4 kiddos and there was plenty of room for everyone. The bunk beds worked great for the kids and all the adults had their own bathroom, which was important. The house backs up to one of the lakes which made for great evening fishing for the kids. The kitchen was nice and big. There was plenty of dining space with the large round table and seating at the island. My only suggestion would be that the kitchen was missing a large pot for boiling spaghetti, however, we made do. Would definitely rent this one again!
