Paradise for a weekend!

Stay at Cinnamon Shores

We had a great time at this property. We had 3 families stay for a reunion. The property was setup wonderfully for that. The kids room had 6 bunk beds which was a really fun feature. It was well stocked in the kitchen and had amenities for the beach. Would definitely stay here again

Excellent

Even with dreary weather, our whole family ( ages 10-73) had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving week! The kitchen was extremely well stocked for all your cooking needs, with over the top appliances. Great bedrooms, with each having a nice bathroom. Cozy community feel, with quick trip into Port Aransas itself.

A great and lovely home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at the Sunset Regatta. It was the perfect location for our group of 11 with 1 of 3 pools directly across from us and steps away from all of the activities. We were welcomed into a airy, cool, bright and clean home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed for cooking meals and plenty of towels for everyone.Having direct access via text to management was helpful when needed. We look forward to our next visit and stay at the Sunset Regatta.

Cinnamon Shores is my happy place!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really loved Sunset Regatta! The home and yard is in excellent shape and very well maintained. The location is perfect for the beach and the Dune Pool. Our only concern is there is only one entrance/exit in this house. The back door goes into the garage which understandably is kept locked. But seems a safety issue to me. Great location and great home. Well furnished and plenty of room for my family of 11.

Sunset Regatta

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our time there and have stayed in this particular house 3 times. We have stayed in numerous other houses at Cinnamon Shore and these owners have gone out of their way to stock the house with the items you need. We did have one large problem this time which prevented us from using one of the three bedrooms. A family of owls had set up shop under the eve on the roof above that bedroom which sounded like a heard of cattle. The owner was very understanding and provided an alternative solution to us not being able to use the bedroom.

Rental House and Amenities Great

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I believe this is our sixth year to stay at CS, and this was the best location and house that we have ever had. The patio was excellent and the house was above and beyond when it came to the amenities. That being said, there was quite a bit of frustration with the management company. The ice maker was not working in the refrigerator. When we alerted the front desk, they told us they were aware of the issue and that it would take a day or two to resolve. That never actually happened. On top of that, we suggested that a daily bag of ice be provided. We were told we could purchase ice but I explained that we were expecting a working ice machine and were only requesting 1 bag a day so we could have cold water/drinks. This was promised, but then was never truly executed unless we gave constant reminders.On top of this, the refrigerator did not cool below 55 degrees. Once again, the management company said they would take care of this issue promptly. This never happened during our stay, and we ended up having to throw away $100 worth of food that went bad and keep our food in coolers and purchase ice to keep the food from going bad.The issue was not with items not working as this happens. The issue was that the management company was slow to react and then had to constantly be reminded to do what they said they would do. There appears to be a breakdown between the front desk and the people doing the work. We kept getting referred to the ticketing system by the front desk with very vague promise times, and even then, what they were saying would never actually happen. It was very frustrating to not have a refrigerator/ice maker and then must constantly be seeking updates on what was happening.

Perfect stay at Sunset Regatta.

The house is perfectly situated midway between the beach and town center and across from the pool A beautiful home with interior design that I love. The room layout was perfect for our group and we can envision it for the future with little ones. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need, and more! We loved eating outside on the deck, and the evenings we enjoyed games, and trips to the center for ice cream or live music. Beach service was fun - such wonderful customer service down there. Just loved it! Can't wait to come back to Cinnamon shore and the Sunset Regatta.

A fabulous home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could ever ask for. The location was perfect for us with a pool right across the street and the beach within an easy walk. Our vacation was truly perfect with one exception which had nothing to do with the home itself. We heard nightly activity we thought was in the attic. Maintenance came right away and assured us there was nothing there. We believe the all night screeching and scratching we heard was actually owls or birds nesting near the roof. My hope is the owner sees this and makes sure they are doing no damage to the property. If they are nesting, perhaps there is a way to keep them from building here next year. We will be back, with earplugs just in case.

My Surprise Birthday Weekend!

I have only two criticisms:Door jambs and glass quite dirty upon arrival. This includes upstairs doors to the balcony as well. We paid a great deal of money for a 7 day stay and were provided with enough paper towels, dishwasher soap, laundry soap for about 2 days. Why so stingy?

SHER TIME at CINNAMON SHORE

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our annual family trip to Cinnamon Shore did not disappoint! Sunset Regatta was a wonderful house and met our needs for everyone (10). Awesome location for afternoon swims in Dune pool and getting to the crossover. The only complaint we had was that several closets were not available to put our things in as they were owner closets. Most likely that was not thought out when building the home. If you don't mind things stacked up in the kitchen then no biggy. The other inconveniences were not having an elevator, which we knew beforehand, and there was not an access through the house to the back parking to load and unload. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. The home was beautiful, spaces were great, it was well stocked and again right across the street fro Dune Pool.

Fun in the Sun

Prime location just across the street from the pool, midway between the social circle and the beach boardwalk. Cannot be beat! The layout was great for our two families, plenty of room to spread out. They also had a game cabinet full of awesome games for all ages. Everything was in excellent condition.The only downside to this property is the faint smell of cigarette smoke. You get a whiff when you enter the front door, and it dissipates the longer you're inside. Unfortunately though, it's definitely there. We did all of our laundry before leaving, hoping to unpack clean clothes when we got home, but when we unzipped our bags everything smelled like stale cigarette smoke and had to be rewashed. Aside from that it was a 5-star experience!
