Overlooking the entire valley below, you can see from Lake Trasimeno, across to Mt Amiata, further to Montepulciano and beyond.

Relax on your private 3 x 6 meter ( 6 x 12 foot approx) terrace and dream of life in Italy. Sip your favorite wine and watch the sunset over the hills. Our new 2 bedroom/1 bathroom private apartment is a rare gem that sits quietly within the walls of the Historical Centre of Cortona.

Within just a few minutes, you are in walking distance to everything.

Cortona is a beautiful town, made famous by the book/movie Under the Tuscan Sun and it is everything you dreamed of and more. Spend your days wandering the ancient streets, eating delicious homemade pasta in one of the many restaurants and sipping Aperol Spritz while people watching in Piazza Signorelli.

Cortona is PURE MAGIC, and returning home to La Terrazza di Cortona to watch the sunset is what memories are made of.

Cortona Getaway
Quaint, comfortable apartment with spectacular views from patio. Easy walking distance to main square. Alen, the property manager who checked us in was great; a Cortona resident who provided lots of suggestions. Samantha, the owner was also easy to work with and stayed in communication from booking to departure. Highly recommend property and host. For those arriving by train, I would suggest booking a taxi well in advance as they are difficult to arrange. We booked Saban Salijevic who was great! He also does tours. View and location could not be better.
The biggest problem is that we only stayed two nights. Although Cortona may be off the normal travel route, it has been our favorite town to visit. It is quaint, clean and very welcoming. Alen, who checked us in, was great as he gave perfect recommendations and was available via Whatsapp if we needed anything. If you rent a car, there is parking very, very close by. We did cooking classes at Fattoria Bistecca, which was highlight of trip. 7 km drive.

Best view in Cortona
Our panoramic view from the huge terrace says it all. The valley lights at night were magical. We stayed for a month and caught three different SpaceX satellite launches one week. The basics are there, too. Super comfortable beds and linens, great wifi, clothes washer. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the central piazza. I can't imagine any other property coming close to this.

Lovely apartment inside the town walls with parking nearby just outside the gate. Great sun terrace with an outstanding view. Samantha is an amazing host and answered every question promptly. Cortona is a gorgeous place and we will be back.

Tolle Aussicht, Parkplatzsuche nervtötend
Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung für 9 Tage gebucht. Eine sehr geräumige, saubere Wohnung mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Tipps von der Vermieterin zu Einkauf, Essen und Ausflügen waren sehr hilfreich. Aufgrund meiner Gehbehinderung hatte ich vor Buchung bzgl. der Parksituation nachgefragt. Leider war das Parken nah am Haus nicht möglich. Auch sämtliches Gepäck durfte nicht am Haus ausgeladen werden. Hinzu kam, dass der nächstgelegene Parkplatz geschlossen war. Nach Ausflügen mussten wir nervtötend lange nach einem Parkplatz suchen und sehr weit zur Wohnung laufen. Dadurch gestaltete sich der Aufenthalt als sehr schwierig und wir entschieden uns, den Urlaub vorzeitig abzubrechen.
