“The name of this property holds up to its name! My stay was perfect as I used it for a retreat, taking advantage of the many views of the volcán on a clear day and the serene garden. About 15 mins from La Fortuna centro, you will find this place down a gravel road. It is in a quiet gated community and a store nearby. The outdoor area is spacious and wonderful for entertaining. “I can't imagine a better-equipped cabin! There's a full kitchen and dining area, a giant bathroom with great hot water, and two beds with their own TVs (it's like a having your own two-bedroom apartment!) The owner, Heylin, was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived. The internet was super fast. We saw monkeys in the trees behind the A-frame as we sat out on the balcony and we also enjoyed a lovely thunderstorm. This is an amazing gem in the area. Definitely worth the stay if you're in……

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……
