「A five star property and staff — some of the best food we’ve ever had traveling, and here it is in the Yorkshire Dales! Friendly, helpful staff to a person, every shift, every position. 「The pub is situated in peaceful countryside and is in a great location. The proprietors were so welcoming and kind, helping me to my room with my luggage. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom clean with nice toiletries. The food in the pub was good, and the service was friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly stay there again if I’m in the area.」

「5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. 」

「Absolute 5 star hotel and team of staff. Service, food and room all top notch and cant wait to come back 」

「The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.」

「Excellent budget stay. I was the only person in an 8-bed dorm, and was one of only two people using the communal facilities on the night of my visit. Excellent hostel facilities and good systems in place.」
