"We loved this place! It was perfect for the 2 of us. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was the tv on the porch had streaming channels and a huge selection of movies, but the tv inside was old school cable and had no streaming at all. We were there for a wedding so by Saturday we were beat and the weather was awful and we wanted to lie in bed and movie out. But other than a couple glitches checking in, our stay was great."

"We have now stayed on both sides of this property. We can't say enough good things about the location, neighborhood, and space. We would certainly return. The only thing we'd change is having a Q bed in the primary bedroom. The space may be too small to accommodate, but that would have made a difference. Otherwise, we have absolutely no complaints. Book JFTHE, it's a gem!"

"Fantastic however, no shampoo or soap in bathrooms. No washer detergent. Check out at 9am is way too early. Not enough beach shade umbrelkas or lounger chairs."

"We had such high hopes for this beach house. Though the images on Vrbo showed the house to be dated we figure it’s right on the beach and looked close to everything on the island. When we arrived you could already tell the house needed repairs. Inside there was a mysterious smell very old and dirty carpets. The couches were so worn that they sank in on itself and were hard. The bathrooms were not clean and it made me question the rest of the house. The master bathroom shower looked like mold growing from a leaking shower head. The master toilet wouldn’t flush. The toilets had dirty rings in them. The laundry was still in the dryer. The kitchen supplies were so old and the cabinets were falling apart. The coffee maker looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The wooden walkway to the back of the house had many wooden boards lifted, nails coming out and broken. I did contact the owner and they apologized for the cleanliness. They organize a cleaning person to come out to clean the bathrooms. On Monday they came. Overall, a disappointing stay for accommodations. This house will have so much potential if major renovations happen. The location was good but we won’t be staying here again. "

"Isle Stay Awhile was amazing! Getting to stay right beside the ocean was just the best, most convenient thing. No packing giant loads of things to take to the beach because we could just run back up to the house to get lunch or more water or whatever else we needed. It was wonderful! The house was amazing! So many amenities, including everything you need in the kitchen, several items for the beach, and ample supplies of toiletries. Adina and Todd were excellent hosts! I definitely hope to come back. We couldn't be more grateful for our week on Emerald Isle."
