“Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.”

Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing, greasy and not quality ingredients. we are vegan/vegetarian and the plant based bacon was very greasy, only small half grilled tomato and almost burned sausage. it would be great to check for fresher ingredients ”

“Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges……
