「Lovely hotel / pub in a very scenic location. Beautiful views. We had 2 cottages for our extended family group of 7 adults/ 4 children. Spent the afternoon enjoying the patio drinks and watching the water flow. Had a delicious Sunday dinner in the lovely upper dining room. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed . Would definitely stay again .」

「My husband and I stayed two nights in June while exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The location is excellent, in a quintessential Dales village, with a number of fun shops and eateries. The room was simply furnished but perfectly adequate. Be aware there are a number of steps, and the tub/shower is deep to step into, so not a good choice if you have accessibility issues.」

「First time staying, lovely and clean, rooms are lovely. We are from their lunch menu, cant fault the quality of the food. Breakfast was lovely. Great choice of options. All in all, a great stay.」

「Excellent stay. Lovely warm welcome. Everywhere clean and and well equipped. The breakfast is cooked to order. So tasty, excellent choice and very filling. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops 2 minutes walk away. Free parking at the hotel.」

「Clean rooms clean towels which smelled lovely clean bed and the bedding smelled lovely. The facilities are fairly new so my stay in new facilities was a nice experience. The pub facilities is nice and small in a sense of local pub. Small outside seating area which is very pleasant overlooking the fields. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again when I venture up to Skipton. Location to Skipton 5 minutes drive probably 25 minute walk.」

「Booked for parents to celebrate fathers 80th. Accomadated a last minute change to more accessible room and late afternoon food. They both really enjoyed stay and could not say enough about quality of staffing and overall experience!」

「Restaurant is still good and well maintained but room and all the other areas really need to be renovated.」

「We had a nice stay here. The only bug bear was that there was not much fruit at breakfast. I do not eat fry ups in the morning. The only fruit was apples. Maybe a dish of mixed fruit or bananas would have been nice. The staff were really pleasant and the hotel itself was fine for our 2-day stay. The bedroom could have been a little bit more updated, paint off in most places, the en-suite was old fashioned, could be done up more modern really.」
