「Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us!」

「Great Lake House! We had so much fun!!!」

「House was very clean, really close to everything in town. Host was very easy to communicate with. Will definitely book again when I’m in the area for work related things.」

「This was a last minute booking for us due to a death in the family. So it was great to have a place in the middle of town for us to be close to family. The bedrooms were large and so were the beds. The only thing I didn’t read was that we had to provide our own toilet paper so when it ran out in the middle of the night there was no other roll in the house. Also we would have liked to have a few more towels instead of one per person. The host requested that picture of the doors to the home...

「We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a weekend visiting family. Everything was comfortable and well-kept, and it really felt like a home away from home. We’d definitely stay again!」

「Wonderful rural setting and a great value for our family!」

「We enjoyed our stay here very much. Beds are extra comfy and there was everything you could need. We wished it had lake access since we stayed during a brutal heat wave but no big deal.」

「It's a great place to stay. Beautiful house. It's close to most restaurants and to Walmart.」

「Had a wonderful time at this very clean, well equipped, quiet house. Will definitely look for this one next time we are visiting our daughter and her family!」

「Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.」

「Great property, very clean and had everything you could possibly need. We were in town for a wedding and this worked perfect for my group!!! Would definitely recommend!」

「Our family enjoyed this cozy home and enjoyed all the offerings! Loved watching the sunset and all the wildlife! Will definately return!」
