「Everything was clean and the people were very kind and helpful. Our room was definitely more like a city apartment and less like a cozy country stay. For the size of the bathroom, the shower was very small. The beds were very hard, although I appreciated the extra blankets. The courtyard could have been better presented. Breakfast was good, but not included in the price of the stay. Dinner was excellent. Cappuccini were mostly foam and no coffee.」

「Beautiful, clean apartments in tiny Castelnuovo Berardenga. Perfect for day trips throughout Tuscany with a drive of an hour or less to just about anywhere. Guiliani was an absolute gem and she took wonderful care of us. In addition to the excellent wines of Poggio Bonelli, there are a couple excellent restaurants in Castelnuovo Berardenga with Bengodi Enoteca Ristorante being absolutely superb.」

It was easy access, lots of free parking and although the manager did not speak much English he was very helpful and hospitable and even called a restaurant for us so we could eat after a late check in. 「Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found...
