We stayed in the amazing cottage for a week. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great to have so many unsuited bedrooms. Hosts were excellent, the meet and greeting and welcome pack were a fab start to the holiday. Perfect location for walking and exploring. We would go again.

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday home in Comrie over the weekend. The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout, making the whole experience smooth and stress free. The house itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and impressively well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location was perfect: peaceful and relaxing, yet just a stone’s throw from some beautiful walking trails and scenic spots. It was the ideal base for unwinding and exploring the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with all the comforts of home.

Westburn is a gem of a holiday home.

Westburn is a gem of a holiday home. Situated on a very quiet street, it is Immaculately clean and very spacious. We were a group of 4 adults 2 children and a dog and there was ample room for all of us. Obviously recently renovated to a very high standard, lovely new kitchen and shower rooms and very large wet room. The garden is large and completely secure so ideal for dogs or small children. The thoughtful addition of a chain and padlock provides extra security for the garden gate. Patricia and Ian, the hosts, were there to greet us on arrival and again as we left and they couldn't have been more helpful, the friendliest nicest people you could wish to meet. We even received a phone call the week before we arrived asking if there was anything we needed prior to our arrival which I have never had before and was very kind. They have thought of everything you could possibly need and more besides! The kitchen is unbelievably well equipped and spacious and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us with bread,eggs, jam biscuits, milk and even dog treats too! Cannot recommend Westburn highly enough. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there thank you Patricia and Ian for being wonderful hosts! Comrie is a lovely quiet place with beautiful views and some lovely walks. A few minutes walk to the river and well worth a walk to see the Wee cauldron and Deils cauldron waterfalls. We were very lucky with the weather for the week hardly any rain and cool sunny days ideal for dog walks.

On arrival at Westburn Holiday Home in Perthshire we were greeted by Patricia & Ian. They were very warm and friendly. Left a curtesy pack of groceries for us. They had gutted their premises earlier this year and upgraded it which has been tastefully done. Showed us around the holiday home explaining how various things worked. Was warm and cosy. House was exceptionally clean. They had thought of everything to place in it also including USB point in bedrooms. Had documented list of amenities, places to eat, emergency numbers etc Dishes and utensils even if you wanted to bake. A barbecue and water hose in the garden. Also summerhouse. Off road parking. Food and water dishes for your dogs if you’re taking them. An enclosed garden the dogs can sit in. Spent a lot of time visiting the surrounding area and didn’t take any photos inside the house. Congratulations Patricia and Ian. Cannot rate this holiday home highly enough and hope to go back.

Very welcoming hosts, Patricia and Ian, who can be easily reached if any problems arise. Very well equipped comfortable home ideal for extended family get together. Great for our Lab and garden totally enclosed with river walk close by. Welcome pack appreciated loved the little jars of marmalade and jam. Definitely recommend as the house is quiet but close to village centre. Lovely area to visit overall.

We enjoyed our week very much in this lovely, comfortable house. It was spotlessly clean and was extremely well equipped - the owners had thought of everything you would possibly need!They were so welcoming and had thoughtfully left milk, bread, eggs etc for us.They had also compiled a folder with very useful information about the house and local area. It is well situated within walking distance to the village and hotels for meals. We thoroughly enjoyed both our week in the house and playing on the local golf courses! We would happily recommend it to anyone.

The cottage can be described in one word as excellent.The furnishings both indoors and outdoors had clearly been well planned which were first class.We had wonderful weather and able to take advantage of the very well equipped garden furniture and outdoor games plus paddling pool. The kitchen equipment,pots ,pans etc were the far beyond our expectations .Trish and Ian had thought of everything.We were greeted by Trish and Ian on arrival who were most welcoming even kindly providing a welcome pack of essentials.The pack included a supply of own made jams which were magnificent.We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage for a super holiday.
