「Lovely stay overall. This hotel has alot of character and is set above Cardiff with lovely views down to the bay. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the hotel was clean. Breakfast was excellent. 」

「We stayed here following a day of hiking and it was perfect. However it would also be a great place to stay for a more glamorous occassion too. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed and quirky interior. Food was incredible.」

「Good value hotel about a mile from the city centre. Doors are all combination so there is no worry about losing the key. Room had to be reprogrammed but the staff did this quickly and cheerfully. Very helpful and welcoming.」

「La collocazione è perfetta, con una passeggiata in un verso si arriva in centro, nel verso opposto al Newport Transporter Bridge. La struttura è nuova, pulita, sicura. Mi è stato gentilmente concesso il check in anticipato, cosa che non tutti fanno! L'unico aspetto che rivedrei sono le pulizie: bisognerebbe che le stanze venissero rifatte, se non proprio quotidianamente almeno ogni 2 GG...per brevi soggiorni ok, per quelli un po' più lunghi inizia ad essere un disagio! Per il resto perfetto!」

The manager was very friendly and helpful by carrying our luggage to our room. The room is clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was very good and served piping hot. I highly recommend this hotel/pub. 」

「Property itself was nice, clean and great facilities. Would have loved my uni galls to be as nice as they were. We were in the ground floor and there was a noticeable smell of drains when we arrived. Area the property is in is very dirty. Litter everywhere! And just seemed grotty.」
