「The property is tired.
Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff.
Long waiting times for food.
Ordering systems that failed.
Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work.
Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing.
No obvious management.
Fabulous views, great weather.
Frustrating hotel.
We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer.

「This is simply a lovely place to stay in Penzance. The owners are so kind and helpful, breakfast was excellent everyday, it’s close to everything, and the room was so comfortable. Stay here. It’s awesome.」

「fantastic stay. super friendly staff, stylish hotel. great to have a stage in the Gardens for the Shanty fedtival. Room with Sun deck was perfect. Ate at the bar in the evening - v tasty and also great breakfast . High end hotel with relaxed and friendly vibe .」
